PHILLIP O'DWYER, EdD, CSW, CAC-II
Phil received his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Detroit and his Doctoral degree in Counseling from Wayne State University. He is a Certified Social Worker and a Certified Addictions Counselor.
He has been in clinical practice since 1982 and specializes in treating persons with addictive disorders and general mental health issues. While he chiefly treats adults, he also sees adolescents.
Dr. O'Dwyer is an Adjunct Professor of Counseling at Oakland University and is Clinical Director of Brookfield Clinics. He provides consultation and training to national, state and local organizations. He has several publications in the area of counseling and psychotherapy.
In his spare time, Phil enjoys golf, fishing and travel.
